i'm not exactly a fan of reading books. (xkcd's "what if?" is a notable exception)
pretty much every book i've read since the start of my primary education has been assigned reading for a class. while i understand why some may enjoy reading and studying literature, it's just not for me. (do NOT look at my ib english a literature hl grade...)
i do, however, enjoy exploring perspectives and learning from other people.
which is why i like blogs.
i've always wanted to write my own, but couldn't find a platform that i liked and didn't have the time until now. (just finished ib dp & high school!)
the internet has become a powerful space. i'm sure there's 18 bajillion blog platforms out there with 32 metric tons of fancy features, but i just wanted something that was simple, fast, and free.
and so here we are. like a book with no pictures, this blog site is dead simple, but it does the job.
you control your content under your own github account, for free. oh, and this whole thing is open source, because why wouldn't it be?

happy blogging (or reading) :)
